Dol Jatra · Dol Purnima

Dol Jatra, or Dol Purnima, is celebrated in Bengal and Odisha on the full moon of Phalguna. Images of Radha and Krishna are placed on a decorated swing and carried in procession while devotees offer coloured powder. It is also the birth anniversary of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
